"Today we have an announcement that will come as a shock to all of you. The four permanent members of the band have had some discussions and it is clear that we have different goals and visions for the future. Therefore it is best for the band, ourselves as individuals and for the fans that we go separate ways now when there is still plenty of time before the next THERION album and world tour. This means that Christofer [Johnsson, THERION mainman] will continue with THERION and the others will perform their music in other projects and bands. "We're all still friends, no one is disappointed and there's still some work we have left to do together in terms of editing of materials we have recorded for future DVD's. "Best regards to all of you and thank you so much for the wonderful support you have given the band during the time we have played together."

la bad news du jour !!!! Ceci dit si le principal intéressé continue avec d'autres musiciens, ça ne veut pas dire que Thérion ds l'absolu est mort..... Donc le Thérion ancien est mort certes, alors vive le Thérion nouveau .... Soyons positif !!!! :D _________________ Lothian

Une bonne nouvelle quand même, un dvd de la tournée Gothic Kabbalah sortira le 25 Juillet chez Nuclear Blast ! Je viens d'acheter le dvd Live Gothic. (Somptueuse présentation, comme d'hab.) Premières écoutes rapides (en attendant d'avoir un peu plus de temps pour visionner au calme ) et c'est bien sûr du grand bonheur. Même si, à l'instar de "Celebrations ..." je n'arrive pas à supporter sereinement le fond musical enregistré. Vous me trouverez peut-être excessivement puriste et exigeant, mais franchement je trouve ca domage. Mais bon, si on parvient à faire abstraction de ce point agacant, les qualités des compositions de CJ, leur magnifique interprétation et les trés bons musiciens dont il s'entoure, sont des éléments qui parviennent à transporter l'auditeur.
