"Today we have an announcement that will come as a shock to all of you. The four permanent members of the band have had some discussions and it is clear that we have different goals and visions for the future. Therefore it is best for the band, ourselves as individuals and for the fans that we go separate ways now when there is still plenty of time before the next THERION album and world tour. This means that Christofer [Johnsson, THERION mainman] will continue with THERION and the others will perform their music in other projects and bands.
"We're all still friends, no one is disappointed and there's still some work we have left to do together in terms of editing of materials we have recorded for future DVD's.
"Best regards to all of you and thank you so much for the wonderful support you have given the band during the time we have played together."

la bad news du jour !!!!
Ceci dit si le principal intéressé continue avec d'autres musiciens, ça ne veut pas dire que Thérion ds l'absolu est mort.....
Donc le Thérion ancien est mort certes, alors vive le Thérion nouveau .... Soyons positif !!!! :D

  Ooooooooooo non !!! quelle énooooooooooooooorme déception !!! Ainsi n'ont ils pas été capables de gérer leur succès grandissant ...  COLERE AMERTUME DECEPTION INQUIETUDE ... Tout cela à la fois ca fait bcp ...
(NB : Je ne lis plus leur site car il est devenu difficile d'accès ; il réclame un nouveau browser : c koi ca ?)

Une bonne nouvelle quand même, un dvd de la tournée Gothic Kabbalah sortira le 25 Juillet chez Nuclear Blast ! 
Un petit extrait, Son of the Staves of Time, une des meilleurs chansons du dernier album, avec l'excellentissime Mats Leven au chant:

Ceci dit, ce titre n'est pas mon préferré car j'ai toujours l'impression d'écouter des parties de Rainbow. C'est trop flagrant.
